Here are our top tips for writing effective copy for your next marketing campaign:
Gimme some space.
We’ve all seen it and not only is it not a pretty sight, but it’s incredibly hard to read and chances are you’ll never make it to the end of the post. We’re talking about copy on social media that has no spaces at all. Make sure to break up your post into sections (even add a few emojis to help tell your story) it’ll capture your audience for longer - you can thank us later!
Keep it short and sweet.
So now you have paragraphs sorted, but is all your content necessary? Aim to keep it simple, focusing on 2-3 benefits of your service/product that will engage well with your audience. This leverages FOMO and will get your consumers wanting more, and better yet wanting your business to help!
Ask “yes” questions.
Starting a two-way conversation with your audience is key, and this can be done by asking “yes” questions e.g. “Do you want to lose weight? Own your dream house? Be successful? Then our product is for you!”.
Maybe not to that extreme... but this type of probing question gets your business talking to the right people, and instantly makes the audience think and positively associate your brand with their wants and needs!
