New emojis are coming to a phone near you! Apple has launched their iOS 15.4 beta which includes some exciting additions to the emoji keyboard, including a melting face smiley, pointing finger, and a mirror ball for the disco lover in all of us.
The new emojis are more considerate of racial and gender diversity, offering multiple skin-tone variations of the handshake emoji and providing gender-neutral variants of the existing people emojis.
It’s unclear exactly when the emojis will be unleashed on the wider population however based on past releases it is expected this could be in March or April of this year. In the meantime, we’re busy thinking up all the ways we can use these fun new smileys.
